Main Announcements of Summer Game Fest 2022

The exhibition held on June 9, did not surprise us with loud announcements, but there is something to see.
So the Summer Game Fest 2022 game conference ended – unfortunately, there were no high-profile announcements. In two hours, the audience managed to find several funny coincidences: in the first hour, they showed a lot of spiritual heirs of Dead Space (all kinds of space horror), while in the second hour – much more all kinds of anime games.
In general, the show started quite rapidly, but after loud announcements, it slowed down significantly. We did not expect any surprises, and more attention was paid to the games of small publishers and developers. This is not bad, but we have hoped for more given the gaming drought.
The Last of Us Remake
The finale of the ceremony was the announcement of a remake of The Last of Us. The developers promise to rework the battles on a large scale, using all the new knowledge from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last of Us: Part 2.
At the same time, all the animations and artwork were recreated from scratch, but the actors were not called back to the set, wanting to keep everything as close to the original as possible.
The Last of Us Multiplayer
Neil Druckmann shared the first details of the multiplayer game based on The Last of Us. It will be fully shown only in 2023, but the project is very important and in scale, it is commensurate with other Naughty Dogs. Moreover, an interesting plot is also promised.
There are some rumours that it will be possible to gamble in the game as well. However, it will not have a traditional form of gambling where you can visit a casino to play poker. Actually, it will be in a form between players where they need to risk something to get some items. The creators of Saints Row will release a character editor for the new Saints Row. The games in the series have always been famous for incredibly deep and captivating character creation, and we will have a closer look at that with even more focus.
The created hero will be transferred to the full version of the game, which will be released at the end of August.

Fort Solis
Fort Solis, a third-person sci-fi thriller set during a day on Mars, has been announced. Starring Troy Baker (Joel from The Last of Us) and Roger Clark (Arthur from Red Dead Redemption 2) it’s like Dead Space meeting Duncan Jones’ Moon movie.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Infinity Ward has brought the Dark Water mission from Modern Warfare 2, in which the famous squad stealthily sneaks onto a barge. Simultaneously reminiscent of the iconic mission from the original Call of Duty 4, and the cleaning of the building in the reboot of MW 2019.
