Fresh gameplay footage has dropped for the upcoming soulslike title Nioh 3, showcasing one of the game's levels packed with both main story content and optional side activities, including bonus boss encounters.
Developer Koei Tecmo keeps the premise of Nioh 3 elegantly simple: "In a dark samurai universe, you'll face fearsome yokai, explore sinister villages shrouded in darkness, and challenge the ominous Crucible."
The threequel introduces a dynamic combat system that lets players seamlessly switch between two fighting styles mid-battle — samurai and ninja — adding a new layer of tactical depth to the franchise's signature challenging gameplay. Nioh 3 is set to launch in early 2026 for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.
