Studio Nyamakop announced the release date for Relooted — a futuristic action game about stealing African artifacts. The game arrives on digital storefronts February 10.
Story of Cultural Reclamation
Relooted tells the story of a team of ordinary people from various African countries who decide to reclaim cultural treasures taken to Western museums. The action unfolds near the end of the 21st century after an international artifact return treaty fails. When diplomacy reaches a dead end, heroes turn to more radical methods and undertake carefully planned heists.
Planning and Execution Gameplay
Each mission revolves around preparation and escape. Players study the museum, plan escape routes, solve puzzles, and select operation participants with needed skills. In the decisive moment, everything depends on plan precision and protagonist Nomali's abilities, who uses parkour to escape with loot before the timer expires.
Diverse Team Assembly
The team forms gradually, including characters with different backgrounds and personalities — from hackers to seemingly unlikely allies. Each participant influences progression and unlocks new tactical possibilities.
70 Real African Artifacts
Developers paid special attention to mission content. Relooted involves returning 70 real African artifacts holding cultural, historical, and spiritual value for the peoples from whom they were originally taken.
Break the law to return cultural treasures to their historical homeland in Relooted on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
