Age of Wonders 4 Gets DLC With New Factions, Intrigue, and Culture

Take a look at the main features of Ways of War. The Oath of Honor culture, based on ethical norms and providing unique advantages. Includes three subcultures:

• Oath of Harmony - avoid wars, build a multicultural empire and make the world a safer place.
• Oath of Righteousness - collect "righteous" alignment points and eradicate evil.
• Oath of Strife - wage wars against worthy opponents and receive bonuses for attacking armies that are stronger than you.

Four new tomes: 

• Tome of Discipline: Channel your inner strength to cleanse your units and empower their attacks. Unlocks the monk unit.
• Tome of Shades: Strike from the shadows, blind your foes and find their weak points to deliver the perfect, fatal blow. Unlocks the assassin unit.
• Tome of Calamity: Bring calamity to the realm and burn your enemies in cold Ghostfire. Gives access to Calamity units.
• Tome of Prosperity: Bring forth prosperity to your empire and grant your units healing Grace. Unlocks Prosperity units.

What else:

• Intrigues are multi-stage events that will tell of murders, coups, betrayals, and other turning points in which you can participate.
• Two new forms - Ogrekins and Simians.
• Two new types of ancient creatures - creatures of prosperity and creatures of disaster.
• New mounts - Graceful Judge, Blessed Dragon, and White Warg.

In addition, the game received the Tiger Update, which brings major changes to heroes, the faction generator, city management, and much more.

Age of Wonders 4 is available on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. In 2025, the strategy will be supplied with two more additions as part of the second season pass.
