During the Six Invitational championship, the Ubisoft team revealed support plans for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege for the coming year. Players get an updated ranked mode, anti-cheat improvements, and plenty of fresh content, including Solid Snake as an operator.
Season One: Operation Silent Hunt (March 3)
Solid Snake — New Permanent Operator
- 3-speed, 1-armor attacker voiced by David Hayter
- Enemy radar showing locations and facing directions (limited to Snake's floor, round-limited uses, only shows standard cameras)
- Weapons: Tacit .45 suppressed pistol, F2 assault rifle, PMR90A2 sniper
- Carries 5 secondary gadget types (one of each: smoke grenade, breach charge, etc.)
- Loots gadgets from fallen enemies and allies (team kills don't drop loot)
- Battle Pass holders get immediate access; others can purchase after two weeks
Season One Additional Content:
- Time-limited 4v4 event: Snake and Sam Fisher lead teams recovering stolen data
- Reworked maps: Oregon, Coastline, Villa
- New 1v1 arcade mode
- Replay camera controls reworked
- Dual Front 6v6 mode removed after this season
- Improved toxic behavior detection in text chat
- Balance changes: Skopós gains speed (2→3), loses armor (2→1)
