To destroy the Purple Cubes in Another Crab's Treasure, you need to select the Mantis Punch adaptation, get close to the cube, use the adaptation, and break it. After that, you can get access to locket locations.
Without the Mantis Punch adaptation, you won't be able to pass through the Cube or smash it using other methods.
To get the necessary adaptation, you must first find and defeat Grovekeeper Topoda, who can teach you the punch.
