Apex Legends Shockwave Update: New Modes, Map and Guns

• The feature of the "Three Strikes: Rebirth" mode will be the mechanics of this very revival. It will allow Legends to stay in the match longer and does not require any banners or beacons. As long as at least one squad member is alive, gamers up to the fourth ring will be automatically reborn according to a timer. However, with each death and with each subsequent round, it will take more and more seconds to "respawn". To reduce the wait time, allies should perform aggressive actions such as dealing damage and killing.

• The "Quarter E" map will appear - according to the developers, it is excellent for dynamic vertical battles. This is an entertainment center that has survived riots and even a chemical attack in the past.
• They will introduce the ability to fire two guns at once. You can put a P2020 or a Mozambique into each hand, but you won’t be able to combine the barrels with each other. In dual fire mode, the rate of fire and magazine capacity is increased, but the sight is disabled and reloading takes longer.
• Combat sense has been supplemented with a couple of new features - health timelines and lighting that appears when an opponent is hit. "But keep an eye out—if you lose sight of an enemy, their health bar will disappear," Respawn warned.

• The "Royal Battle with Bots" mode will help you get better at Apex Legends. According to the team, this option is suitable for both beginners and those who have not played for a long time or want to hone their skills outside of regular or ranked skirmishes. You can fight against AI either alone or together with your comrades.
• Speaking of new ones. For them, Respawn has prepared a new starter pass - a unique set of challenges that will allow you to master the key skills required on the battlefields of the royal battle. To increase the pass level, you will be given cosmetics and legend tokens. The latter should be enough to unlock one legend of the gamer's choice.

The update starts on August 6th. On the same day, the "battle passes" in Apex Legends will split in two - in each season, instead of one pass, there will be two halves of it.
