As promised, Ubisoft today fully unveiled new content for Assassin's Creed Mirage, included in the free Valley of Memory expansion. During the presentation, developers announced the exact release date — November 18.
Valley of Memory launches as a major update, opening a fresh chapter in additional locations. The primary setting is the ancient oasis city of AlUla with its surrounding desert, where Basim travels searching for his father. Upon arrival, he encounters a bandit gang controlling the entire region.
The episode takes approximately six hours to complete. This is endgame content, designed to feel more challenging than the main campaign. After completion, newly acquired gear and skills can be tested back in Baghdad. The developers are also introducing various gameplay improvements, including:
- Smoother parkour and enhanced protagonist mobility.
- Mission replay through the Animus, with exclusive rewards like new color filters inspired by past Assassin's Creed titles.
- Expanded difficulty customization — players can now fine-tune gameplay to personal preferences. The team also prepared two hardcore modes: "Tempered" and "Ultimate Assassin."
- New tier-3 upgrade for each tool, an additional skill, and numerous quality-of-life improvements.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), PlayStation, and Xbox.
