Assassin's Creed Mirage Patch 1.1.0 Adds Story DLC, Difficulty Options & More

Assasins Creed Mirage Patch

On November 18, Assassin's Creed Mirage receives free DLC Valley of Memory. Alongside it, the action-adventure gets a substantial 1.1.0 update. Ubisoft has revealed the patch contents.

Detailed patch notes are published here. Key additions include:

  • Valley of Memory expansion — set in the new Al-Ula region during base campaign events. Access requires completing "The Head of the Snake" mission and speaking with Dervish. An option to start a new game and skip directly to the required story point is available.
  • New activities — one involves finding stolen goods: Basim locates them using secret maps that must first be stolen from thieves. Another features parkour segments collecting melodies for the oud (similar to shanties from Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag). Learned compositions can be performed in the game world.

General improvements available in Baghdad:

  • Manual jump — enabled in gameplay settings.
  • Ability to leap sideways or backward even without nearby ledges or obvious landing points — enabled in settings.
  • "Modern" control scheme designed to improve comfort, especially with manual jump enabled.
  • Ability to replay main missions and contracts through the Animus.
  • Two new difficulty levels: "Hardened Assassin" (like normal with tougher enemies) and "Ultimate Assassin" (new challenge for experienced players). Fine-tuned difficulty customization also available.
  • Tier-3 tool upgrades unlocking new abilities — throwing knives explode, darts pierce heavy armor.
