Assassin's Creed Shadows Adds Manual Jump and Other Improvements

Assassins Creed Shadows Patch

On February 17, Ubisoft released update 1.1.8 for Assassin's Creed Shadows. Additionally, the team mentioned that March 10 expansion Claws of Awaji reaches Nintendo Switch 2.

Major Changes (Full Patch Notes on Ubisoft Site)

Manual Jump Toggle — Settings will include option to enable manual jumps instead of automatic.

Detailed Equipment Descriptions — Added detailed equipment and perk descriptions. Access by opening inventory menu and pressing right stick on gamepad or Tab on keyboard.

Critical Hit Visual Feedback — Critical strikes will be accompanied by more visible visual effect on enemy health bar.

Animus Menu Shortcut — Animus menu can be launched via glitch located at hideout entrance.

Stability Improvements — Overall Shadows stability will be increased.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed crash occurring when attempting to start New Game+ on platform without purchased Claws of Awaji DLC, using save from platform where you already progressed through expansion story
  • Contract experience rewards no longer reduced when changing seasons

  • Eagle collision at viewpoints no longer interferes with synchronization
