Tom Henderson's guess has been confirmed - Ubisoft has indeed delayed the release date of Assassin's Creed Shadows. The launch has been moved forward by three months.
Initially, the game was supposed to be released on November 15, but now the release is scheduled for February 14, 2025. The reason for the postponement is not particularly original - the authors allegedly need more time to polish. Pre-orders will be refunded, and for those who make an early purchase in the future, the first add-on will be free.
But there was some positive news. Ubisoft has abandoned the season pass model for content support for Assassin's Creed Shadows. In addition, at the release, the PC version of the game will also be available on Steam. Ubisoft will begin sending their subsequent titles to the Valve store at the same time as Ubisoft Connect.
Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Mac and in the Amazon Luna cloud service.
