Just a couple of weeks before Ghost of Yōtei's release, developers at Sucker Punch Productions have treated fans to a fresh gameplay trailer. The footage showcases protagonist Atsu traveling through the vibrant locations of Ezo Island while cutting down enemies with an arsenal of diverse weapons.
Ghost of Yōtei takes place over 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The story centers on mercenary Atsu, whose mission is to track down and eliminate members of the "Yōtei Six" gang responsible for her family's death.
Throughout the campaign, players will explore the entire island of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido) and experience an expanded combat system. The game also features additional content including treasure hunting, bounty missions, and various side activities that expand the open-world experience.
Ghost of Yōtei launches October 2nd exclusively for PlayStation 5.
