Game Freak has released a 4.5-minute gameplay trailer for Beast of Reincarnation, focused on the combat system, three weeks before the August 4 launch.
The game blends real-time action with tactical turn-based elements. Players control Emma and her companion Ku, coordinating their actions to stagger enemies and deal heavy damage. Parrying is central — each successful block fills Ku's gauge, which is then spent on special tactical abilities. Bloom Arts deliver powerful area-control moves, and new techniques unlock by defeating bosses and leveling up with collected essence.
Early gameplay previews from press have been largely positive.
Beast of Reincarnation launches August 4 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, including Game Pass from day one.
