Best Car Games to Play Online

Car Games Online

Browser car games can be about very different things: cutting milliseconds off a lap, holding a long drift, weaving through traffic, landing a big stunt, or just driving with no timer. This list covers competitive racing, drifting, rally stages, Formula-style circuits, open stunt maps, and kart combat.

1. Racing: Online!

  • Best for: multiplayer races and car collecting
  • Multiplayer: yes

Racing: Online! puts you in short 3D races against other players. Friends can race together in private lobbies, and daily quests and limited-time events run alongside the regular races.

You drift during normal races; there's no separate drift mode. On keyboard, Space starts a slide, so the handbrake helps rotate the car through tight corners. Get the entry wrong, and you lose speed on the way out, which hurts most when several cars are bunched up through the same section.

Race rewards go into a garage where you collect and upgrade cars. What you unlock changes what you can bring to later events, so there's a progression track running next to the multiplayer.

2. PolyTrack

  • Best for: time trials and track building
  • Multiplayer: yes, plus ghost races

PolyTrack borrows heavily from TrackMania. Its low-poly courses are full of jumps, loops, steep climbs and drops, and tight corners, and restarts are instant, so you end up running the same section over and over.

Ghosts are a big part of it. Version 0.5.0 added races and replays with up to 10 ghosts, and version 0.6.0 brought experimental multiplayer in March 2026.

You can also build your own courses in the editor, export them, and share them. A hard custom track can eat dozens of attempts while you figure out the braking point, the jump angle, or the line that gets you a faster time.

3. Drift Hunters

  • Best for: drifting and car tuning
  • Multiplayer: no

The goal in Drift Hunters is to keep the car sideways for as long as you can without losing it. The browser version has 26 cars, based on familiar drift and performance models like the Toyota AE86, Nissan Silvia, Toyota Supra, BMW M3, Nissan GT-R, and Porsche 911.

Tuning covers turbo pressure, brake balance, camber and suspension height, and the currency you earn from drifting buys new cars and parts. Those settings change how fast the rear steps out and how easy a slide is to hold, so the garage has more say over your driving than in most browser drift games.

Your score keeps climbing as long as the drift lasts, and a spin, a wall hit, or a bad correction can end a good run. With no multiplayer, you're chasing higher scores, longer chains, and better setups.

4. Racing Limits

  • Best for: highway racing through traffic
  • Multiplayer: yes

Racing Limits runs on city streets and highways shared with civilian traffic. There are career, infinite, timed, and free-driving modes, and you can pick one-way or two-way traffic, which changes how much room you get to overtake. The road is rarely empty, so even a basic highway run turns into a string of late lane changes.

Nitro pays off on a well-timed straight, and close passes feel much tighter from the cockpit camera than from behind the car. You can switch to manual gears if you want more control over acceleration.

5. Madalin Stunt Cars 2

  • Best for: stunts and free driving
  • Multiplayer: yes, depending on the host

Madalin Stunt Cars 2 has 34 cars and three large maps full of ramps, loops and open ground. You don't have to follow a race route: you can hunt for the biggest jump, practise landings or use the open areas for informal drag races.

Nitro and the handbrake help you set up jumps and slides, and the camera controls are useful once the car is in the air.

Multiplayer depends on where you play. CrazyGames lists online rooms, but the game's own site says an older multiplayer app can no longer be activated, so the stunt maps and free driving are the better reason to pick it up.

6. Rally Racer Dirt

  • Best for: arcade rally driving
  • Multiplayer: yes

Rally Racer Dirt is an arcade rally on tarmac, gravel and grass, with 13 rally cars, five tracks, and real-time multiplayer.

Grip changes with the surface, so the same corner can behave very differently once you're off the asphalt. On dirt, it usually pays to rotate the car earlier and be careful with the throttle on the way out.

The tuning menu covers suspension, anti-roll bars, ride height, and gear ratios, which gives you plenty to fiddle with between runs. The handling is still easy to read after a few corners.

7. Night City Racing

  • Best for: two-player racing on one keyboard
  • Multiplayer: two players on one device

Night City Racing has 10 super-sport cars, 16 standard races, and five challenge races. You can race computer-controlled opponents alone or share the keyboard with a second player.

Each driver gets their own controls, and both can use NOS. You can upgrade cars and change wheels and paint.

The challenge races break up the city events, and one of them puts you up against an airliner. That's more variety than most two-player browser racers have.

8. Slow Roads

  • Best for: relaxed driving
  • Multiplayer: no

Slow Roads has no opponents, lap timer, or finish line. A procedurally generated road keeps going while the hills, bends, and scenery change around it. Some browser versions also have autodrive, if you'd rather watch the road than drive it.

9. Super Star Car

  • Best for: Formula-style career racing
  • Multiplayer: no

Super Star Car puts Formula-style cars on circuits, with a career built on prize money, stars, and upgrades. It has 14 circuits and both cockpit and third-person cameras.

Results carry over through upgrades and championship standings. Every opponent is computer-controlled, so once you've learned the first few tracks, the career is what keeps you going.

10. Smash Karts

  • Best for: kart combat
  • Multiplayer: yes

Smash Karts is closer to vehicular combat than racing. Matches last three minutes, with up to eight players in the same arena, and you score by eliminating other karts.

Weapon pickups include machine guns, mines, rockets, and temporary invincibility. If you liked Mario Kart's battle mode more than its circuits, this is the one to try.
