Publisher Deep Silver and developer Warhorse have announced that the Legacy of the Forge expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will launch September 9th. The add-on will be available for separate purchase and as part of the DLC season pass.
In Legacy of the Forge, Henry must restore a burned-down forge where his father Martin once worked as an apprentice. The protagonist will not only master the art of blacksmithing but also delve into memories of his deceased parent.
New Content and Customization
Beyond new daily quests, players will unlock opportunities to earn money and spend it on forge personalization. Customization options extend to the forge itself, living quarters, and surrounding areas — offering a total of 136 million different design combinations.
The expansion adds a meaningful layer to Henry's character development, connecting his present journey with his family's past while introducing practical gameplay mechanics centered around the medieval craft of metalworking.
Future Content
Deliverance 2 has another expansion on the horizon — Mysteria Ecclesiae. This upcoming DLC will take players to Sedlec Monastery where they'll confront a deadly epidemic threatening the region.
Legacy of the Forge represents the first major content expansion for the highly anticipated medieval RPG sequel, giving players deeper insight into Henry's family history while expanding the game's crafting systems.
