Bloober Team has announced Cronos: Lazarus, a story DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn, launching this fall.
The expansion serves as a prequel to the main story. Players take on the role of the Pathfinder — who gradually becomes the beloved Keeper — cut off from the Collective and determined to awaken a lost Entity he refuses to let go. A hunter has been sent to eliminate him, and staying alert is essential.
The gameplay shift is significant: where Cronos: The New Dawn leans into slow survival horror, Lazarus is faster and more aggressive. The Keeper is an elite Collective agent — powerful, quick, and equipped with tools like traps and an invisibility ability. His adversary is equally formidable, and their confrontation promises destruction on a large scale.
Cronos: Lazarus is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
