Gearbox, the creators of the iconic Borderlands series, revealed some details about Borderlands 4 at PAX West. Moreover, fans get a look at concept art that shows off new worlds to explore.
Borderlands 4 will tell the story of a new planet with new main characters. As the developers say, one of the key tasks of the fourth part is to maintain the feeling that the players and their characters are at the center of the story, moving the plot forward, and not just “riding” alongside.
Each character in the game has their own strong character, thanks to which they react differently to different situations. The humor should be more organic, more naturally arising from what is happening on the screen.
Borderlands 4 launches in 2025 on PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series.
