Gaming News Journalist (Remote)

We invite a talented copywriter to join our HermitGamer team. You will monitor the market and look for relevant news stories, as well as write and publish them on hermitgamer.com/news/.

HermitGamer is a new product and its traffic is not that big yet, but we are constantly growing, and together we will grow even faster. We strive to create material that will be interesting and useful to our readers.

You will be responsible for creating up-to-date news about everything related to video games that deserve the attention of gamers.

Your ​Responsibilities

• To look for and write 2 news articles per day following the writing requirements
• Check the facts in every article to ensure that your material is useful and accurate
• Create images for the news articles based on HermitGamer guidelines
• Pitch story ideas when none are readily available
• Communicate with the editorial team to improve the content quality 

Requirements

• A passion to grow within the gaming industry
• Broad working knowledge of Video Games
• Ability to learn and grow
• Relevant experience in writing or editing
• Excellent writing and verbal English skills
• Ability to write articles free of grammatical errors
• Confident skills of working in Google Docks and Google Sheets
