Video Games Guide Writer (Remote)

We are looking for an author with excellent writing skills to join the HermitGamer team! You will be creating video game guides that show only useful information, without unnecessary water, and provide players with specific answers to questions.

You will be responsible for writing and editing game guides on a base of ready-made topics, using our guidelines and standards for writing material.

Games for writing guides are at the author's discretion.

Your ​Responsibilities

• Writing 3-4 articles per week
• Suggesting relevant and interesting games for writing guides
• Understanding the intent of the user's query
• Ability to analyze the question and give the right answer
• Verify facts and information
• Create images based on HermitGamer guides
• Communicate with the editorial team to improve the quality of content

Requirements

• Passion for development in the gaming industry
• Extensive knowledge of mechanics in video games
• Ability to learn and grow
• Experience in writing or editing articles
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Ability to write articles without grammatical errors
• Ability to concisely convey the point to the user
• Strong skills in Google Docks and Google Sheets
• Basic knowledge of SEO optimization
