Castle-Building Game Tiny Glade Is Getting An Update

Tiny Glade

Pounce Light Studio reports that the contemplative castle builder Tiny Glade has been tested by over half a million players. The new product has achieved this result in just a couple of weeks.

Tiny Glade was made by just two people, and after a grueling road to release, they want to take a break. However, before that, the duo will make a number of changes to the game:

  • Some users are experiencing crashes due to a failure in the graphics drivers. Programmer Pounce Light has asked NVIDIA and AMD for help, and is also looking for the cause of the error himself.
  • Tiny Glade will feature the ability to remove teeth and railings.
  • The game will begin to remember the last selected color and style of an item - it will be possible to install several identical parts in a row. This and the previous improvement should start before the end of the week.

The authors do not plan to publish a schedule for the game's support - they prefer to make decisions on the fly and not look too far ahead:

"We developed Tiny Glade organically, evolving and adapting the design as needed, relying on our intuition and your feedback - and we intend to stay the same. In this case, it is the only working approach; Tiny Glade is in many ways an experiment in procedural generation, where behind the simple appearance are hidden devilishly complex mechanisms that make everything move. To add or change one feature, you need to adapt all the others. Sometimes this is easy, and sometimes it just doesn't work out."

Tiny Glade is available on Steam. Customer reviews are "extremely positive" (96%).
