Pocketpair Publishing and WizMUD Games have announced that Vision Quench launches in Q1 2027 on PC via Steam. A free demo is available now.
The game is a dark fantasy co-op shooter with horror, puzzle, and exploration elements set inside a massive tower owned by a mysterious corporation. Four players climb toward the top in search of a mythical "Sweepstakes Code" — an artifact described as both a promise and a curse — battling ancient creatures and modern nightmares through a procedurally shifting labyrinth.
A magic sphere serves as a key tool alongside weapons, capable of dispelling illusions, revealing hidden passages, and solving puzzles. The arsenal mixes medieval gear like torches and morning stars with modern and futuristic equipment including fireworks and sci-fi guns.
Progression revolves around cursed items, rituals that grant new abilities, and direct use of found artifacts. Notable mechanics include an environment-reactive voice chat, a shared team backpack, item tossing between players, and a death system where fallen characters become Freakopop plastic toys — still able to help survivors with special vision. A mysterious entity pursues players who break the rules of the tower's strange world. Extensive customization options are also planned.
