Co-op Soulslike Mortal Rite Coming on November 7

Mortal Rite

Announced a couple of years ago, the soulslike Mortal Rite from the independent studio Round Toast will launch in Steam Early Access on November 7. The developers named the date in a fresh trailer.

Mortal Rite is based on a dynamic melee combat system with Rogue-lite elements. The key feature of the game is a roster of diverse characters whose abilities are equally useful in both PvE and PvP. The characters will be the adepts of an ancient guild of immortal warriors, whose goal is to survive the test of the Blood Spirit and prove their skills.

At the launch of the early version, the authors offer:

  • All the main gameplay mechanics.
  • Three characters.
  • Eighteen types of opponents.
  • Five boss battles.
  • Support for co-op up to five simultaneous players.

Mortal Rite will gradually acquire content updates during its stay in early access, which will last from one to two years. The list of supported languages currently only includes English.
