Funselektor Labs has confirmed that over the hill launches October 14 on PC via Steam. Console versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 arrive in 2027.
The game is a relaxed off-road driving sim set in a colorful open world with forests, lakes, mountains, remote cabins, natural landmarks, and portals to other regions. The vehicle roster is inspired by real cars from the second half of the 20th century, with upgrades available along the way. A day-night cycle and dynamic weather are included.
Players can explore solo or in co-op for 2–4, using boards, winches, and other equipment to tackle obstacles together. There's no goal, no set sequence, and no time pressure — the point is the journey itself. A camera lets players photograph wildlife and scenery at their own pace.
