Pocketpair Publishing and MythicOwl have announced that Truckful launches October 9 on PC (Steam) and Android, with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions coming later. A free demo is available on Steam.
Players take the wheel of an old pickup truck, running errands for residents of a small rural community. Deliveries range from perishable fish that spoils if you dawdle to fragile heirlooms that shatter on bad corners. Routes wind through country roads, swamps, bogs, and quicksand.
The truck can be upgraded to increase cargo capacity and handle tougher terrain. Residents reward the driver with resources and help scavenge scrap for improvements.
Exploration runs alongside the delivery work — hidden paths, unusual landmarks, and secrets scattered through the trees gradually reveal the history of the area and the mystery of an ancient forest at the heart of local legend.
