SEGA has announced a multiplayer test for Crazy Taxi: World Tour, running September 12–14 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series with cross-play support. Applications are open on SEGA's website until September 1.
The test focuses exclusively on online multiplayer. Two modes are available: Pickup Race, where up to six players race to earn the most money by delivering passengers within a time limit; and Cops 'N' Cabbies, a team-based mode pitting cops against taxi drivers. The test build includes two maps, four characters, and six customizable cars.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour launches in 2027 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
