ProbablyMonsters has revealed that Crimson Moon, a dark fantasy co-op action RPG, is targeting a September release window. An exact date will be announced in the coming months.
The game takes place in the fallen city of Gildenarch, where players take on the role of a Nephilim — a human-angel hybrid created to protect humanity from hellish forces. Armed with deadly weapons and supernatural abilities, the hero fights through hordes of demons, undead, vampires, and other abominations to face the Dead Gods. Solo and two-player co-op are both supported.
A roguelite element runs through the gameplay — locations are revisited with changing enemies and modifiers. Between runs, players return to a central church to interact with NPCs and upgrade their character. Each victory unlocks new missions, modifiers, skills, and achievements.
Crimson Moon is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
