Croteam has announced The Talos Principle 3, the concluding entry in the philosophical puzzle series, just two and a half years after The Talos Principle 2. The game is planned for 2027.
Players wake in a strange, contradictory world of ruined temples and abandoned research stations called the Anomaly — the only place in the universe where the laws of physics don't apply as expected. Memories are fragmented, but the protagonist is certain their presence is no accident. Solving increasingly complex puzzles gradually reconstructs the life of an explorer and the history of a world built by humanity.
Key features include more complex puzzles with both familiar and new mechanics, a narrative conclusion to the series, exploration of different periods of human civilization through personal memory fragments, and a soundtrack by Damjan Mravunac.
The Talos Principle 3 is coming to PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 in 2027.
