The Massive Monster team has shared plans for the development of their indie hit Cult of the Lamb. In 2023, the developers are going to release two free DLCs instead of one, as previously announced.
The first major update, Relics of the Old Faith, will be released early this year (no exact date yet). The update will add new enemies, make changes to the later stages of the game, redesign the combat system, and introduce a new heavy attack for each weapon.
The second DLC is as yet untitled. The focus will be shifted to cult management mechanics. The customization options will also be updated. The update is scheduled for mid 2023.
Moreover, even in small patches, that have been released recently, there are significant changes. The developers have heard the players’ requests – it’s now possible to fish and cook food in automatic mode, controller owners can reassign buttons to their liking, and in cult domains the lamb is able to bless multiple followers at once.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
