Red Hook Studios has unveiled a teaser for a new Darkest Dungeon II expansion titled The Butcher’s Asylum. The DLC is expected to launch in 2027.
Details about The Butcher’s Asylum remain scarce, but the developers promise to share more information before the end of November. Based on the description and footage from the teaser, the expansion will introduce an arena mode featuring endless waves of enemies, allowing players to experiment with countless strategies and dive into never-ending madness.
Darkest Dungeon II is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. A mobile version is also in development. Originally released in 2023, Darkest Dungeon II continues to receive new content and support from its developers.
