Dawn of War 4 Shows Off Adeptus Mechanicus Gameplay

Adeptus Mechanicus

KING Art has released a 4-minute gameplay demo for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 focused on the Adeptus Mechanicus faction fighting against Orks.

The Mechanicus excel at mid and long range, preferring quick engagements and leveraging their technology for unique battlefield intelligence. Melee units are also available — Ruststalkers work best as a distraction, drawing enemies into close quarters before ranged units open fire from a distance.

The faction's standout mechanic is the Noospheric Network, which links buildings, static weapons, and units together to make them stronger and more coordinated. The more elements added to the network, the higher its level — unlocking more powerful units, upgrades, and research options while reducing costs and boosting the strength of all units within range.

Two commanders are available at launch: tech-archaeologist Potentia Delta-9, who deploys a reconnaissance servo-skull to scout distant areas, and Skitarii Marshal Sec-IX-23, who buffs all units within range.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 is planned for release later this year on PC via Steam.
