Deadlock Gets 24/7 Matchmaking Supports

Deadlock 24 7 Support

Valve continues to slowly improve Deadlock. Previously, matchmaking in the hero shooter worked only in certain time intervals, but after a recent update, player search began to function 24/7. The update also offers other interesting additions.

Let's briefly go over the main points of the patch:

  • Matchmaking now works around the clock in all regions.
  • A new mini-map with unique hero icons and special display of neutral "camps" has been added, and the orange line is now green.

  • A penalty system has been implemented, due to which players will be deprived of some shooter functions for violations, such as voice chat and in-game pause. For now, the penalties come into effect only after a few days.
  • A low-priority queue has appeared for those who have committed offenses. For example, users who leave matches too early will be sent here.
  • Solo newbies will be matched with other inexperienced gamers until they win 4 times.
  • A group of 6 participants will no longer fight with a team consisting of solo players. Because of this, the time for matchmaking may increase.
  • Inactive users will be automatically kicked after a few minutes.
  • Pressing the space bar no longer cancels skills. To cancel the use of an ability, you must press it again.
  • The second Flex slot now opens after destroying two enemy Walkers, not one tower.
  • And also a short, long list of changes. The full patch notes are available here.

Valve is no longer hiding the existence of Deadlock, but is in no hurry to officially present it. The project is available on PC (Steam), and you can join the testing only by invitation from another gamer who already plays the shooter.
