During Gamescom 2025, developers from Funday Games revealed the console release date for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor — the game will arrive on Xbox Series on September 17. On the same day, it will exit early access and join the Game Pass library.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor launched in Steam Early Access in February 2024. This new spin-off of the hit Deep Rock Galactic is designed as a simplified action roguelike and auto-shooter in the spirit of the equally popular Vampire Survivors.
Instead of the familiar resource gathering, players take control of one of four deadly dwarves who clear caves of giant bugs while delving deeper into the depths of planet Hoxxes. The main objective is to survive and eliminate enough enemies to collect the most powerful equipment and become nearly invincible.
Throughout its time in Steam Early Access, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has accumulated over 35,000 "Very Positive" reviews — maintaining an 86% positive rating.
