The Vessel of Hatred DLC for Diablo 4 is coming next month and will offer a dose of fresh content. It will shed light on the fate of the insidious Mephisto, who once again threatens Sanctuary. To confront him, players will travel to the Nahantu region, which you may remember from Diablo 2.
One of the notable gameplay innovations of the DLC will be the mercenary system. Thanks to them, you will be able to travel around Sanctuary not only alone, but also with a team of comrades. The abilities of mercenaries are customized according to your class and play style.
The DLC also offers to try out a new class - the Spiritborn.
The Spiritborns are agile fighters with magical abilities and wield a glaive. Due to their closeness to nature, they can use the powers of animals:
- The Jaguar hits targets with a series of rapid attacks.
- The Gorilla relies on powerful attacks and endurance.
- The Eagle has increased movement speed and accuracy.
- The Centipede poisons enemies and controls the battlefield.
The new class has exclusive items and the "Sacred Hunt" quest, which opens access to the "spirit abode" - a special system for combining and developing spiritual effects.
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred will be released on October 8 on PC (Steam, Battle.net), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Shortly before the release of the DLC, the game will be updated to version 2.0. The update is aimed at global revision of game mechanics with a new system of difficulty levels, improved pumping, changes in the quality of items, and so on.
