Electronic Arts and BioWare are gradually lifting the curtain on Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Previously, the authors mainly talked about mechanics and the general concept, and also released trailers of varying degrees of colorfulness. Now the RPG advertising campaign is reaching a new level.
As it became known, the developers arranged a large presentation of The Veildguard for selected journalists. Critics got acquainted with the first 7 hours of the fantasy epic, and they were even allowed to record their own gameplay for a video preview.
Unfortunately, articles and videos with impressions will not be released soon - the embargo on them will remain in effect until September 19. The company has also compiled a whole list of details that are prohibited from being mentioned in the press. Apparently, we are talking about spoilers, and some eyewitnesses have already forgotten about this form of NDA.
In addition, BioWare recently shared details of the progression of the new Dragon Age. As usual, players will be able to develop the protagonist (the ceiling is level 50), allies (who will have their own skill trees), and also improve items. What's interesting is that characters will be able to gain experience not only through quests and battles, but also from dialogues that will strengthen the relationship between the heroes. The authors assure that this is not only about romance and all the consequences that follow from it - in Thedas, ordinary strong friendships are also valued.
Let us remind you that the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard will take place on October 31. The RPG will appear on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
