Dark Arisen DLC — October 9

Alongside the patch, Capcom released an overview trailer for the Dark Arisen story DLC, launching October 9. The same day, the game arrives on Nintendo Switch 2.

The DLC is set in the harsh northern region of Norgan — once a thriving land, now reduced to ruins with a single surviving settlement. Expeditions beyond the settlement require careful preparation: supplies, upgraded gear, and rest. Enemies include Beorcan warriors, frost-breathing giants, and the ice dragon Fimbul. A new wolf companion named Freki assists exploration.

Relics found during expeditions are appraised by Jiera, the settlement's matriarch. Appraised weapons and armor gain stats based on relic rarity and may include new effects that boost both the Arisen's and Pawn's skills.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
