A fan team has released Dusk, an unofficial PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, five years after development began in 2020. The project involved decompiling the original GameCube version of the game.
Beyond the port itself, the team added a range of improvements including higher resolution, unlocked frame rate, enhancements from the Wii U HD version, mod support, cheats, achievements, difficulty modifiers, blur settings, improved shadow detail, Steam Deck and mobile compatibility, and quality of life changes like faster ladder climbing and dialog skipping.
Dusk is available for download on GitHub. The original game ROM is required to run it.
