Loric Games has announced the release date for Echoes of Elysium — a survival game set in a world of floating islands and airships. The game enters early access December 4, with full release expected in approximately one year.
The early access version offers one large area comprised of procedurally generated islands. Players can gather resources, craft weapons and airship components, battle enemies, and face the first boss. As development progresses, the developers plan to add new biomes, recipes, ship parts, and storylines.
Echoes of Elysium focuses on three pillars: building, exploration, and aerial combat. Up to six players can form crews, construct their own airships, and battle enemy fleets.
Loric Games emphasizes that early access is a crucial part of development. The studio wants to listen to the community and test survival mechanics and balance alongside players. According to developers, Echoes of Elysium will remain in early access for approximately 12-16 months, with the price increasing after full launch.
