Fallout: London Mod is Close to Release

Fallout London

The launch of the large-scale Fallout: London mod for Fallout 4, originally scheduled for this April, was postponed at the last moment. The mod team has published the latest news about the stage of preparation for the launch.

Here is the comment from the team of developers:

"In short, we have sent several builds to GOG for quality testing and are waiting for the final green light.

Once they've completed the process of checking and double-checking Fallout: London and its installer on all supported machines, we should be ready to launch. (Yes, we have our own installer and even a downgrader!)

It is important to all of us that this final testing process goes through in its entirety. We are very grateful to GOG for their help.

It may seem like we're not doing much, but we can assure you that the department heads are working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure the release build is the best it can be. The end is near."

Since the Fallout: London team has enlisted the support of GOG, the mod will be released primarily on this platform. There's no word yet on a Steam launch.

Fallout: London changes the setting of Fallout 4: you will find yourself in London, which was not explored in the official parts of the series. The mod promises new factions, storylines, NPCs, weapons, creatures and much more. The authors try to follow the rules of the lore, which is why, for example, in Fallout: London there are no Super Mutants, Death Claws, or Vault-Tek.
