Future Friends Games and solo developer Friedemann have announced that Slots & Daggers arrives on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on May 15. The game is already available on PC via Steam, where it holds 94% positive reviews.
The game is built around a slot machine: spin the reels, land combinations, collect bonuses, and fight monsters — all wrapped in a retro fantasy aesthetic with deliberately simple art, chiptune music, and an arcade feel. A run takes roughly four to eight hours, with a harder "Egg Arena" mode available for those who want more of a challenge.
Players on Steam note that despite its simplicity, Slots & Daggers has a surprisingly strong pull.
