Konami has announced the release date for the online PvP mode Fox Hunt in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The announcement was made during a special livestream from Tokyo Game Show.
Fox Hunt is a competitive hide-and-seek experience where match participants must find and eliminate each other using any available means. Up to twelve players can participate in a single session, though according to Konami, cross-play is not currently supported.
Fox Hunt offers two game modes: "Survival: Capture" and "Survival: Invasion." The first is a capture-the-flag style game where players must collect a certain number of frogs. Meanwhile, the second mode resembles a battle royale, featuring combat on a constantly shrinking play area.
Access to Fox Hunt will open on October 30 across all platforms where the main game is available — PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
