At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, IGN staff tried out the demo version of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Journalists recorded the gameplay of the "demo" and demonstrated it to the public.
In the spin-off of the Like a Dragon series, gamers will once again visit sunny Hawaii and get into the shoes of the crazy Goro Majima, who, after losing his memory, decided to become the local king of pirates. The presented video shows the initial segments of the story and dynamic fights using two fighting styles of the protagonist.
As is tradition in the series, developers Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have prepared a lot of side stories and various activities that you can do during a break from the main plot. Unfortunately, IGN's video only shows 3 mini-games - karting, protagonist customization and the public's favorite karaoke.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is scheduled for release on February 28, 2025. The game will be released on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation and Xbox
