Tomorrow, September 11th, Elden Ring: Nightreign is getting a fresh batch of free content. This time, the FromSoftware team is challenging players to test their skills in the hardcore Deep of Night mode, which just received an overview trailer ahead of its launch.
In the nearly 5-minute video, the developers showcase all the major changes awaiting fans of brutal challenges:
- In Deep of Night mode, players can't choose their target Night Lord, and landscape changes won't appear on the map.
- Enemies become significantly stronger, and players may encounter more powerful opponents during their runs.
- To balance the increased difficulty, players gain access to weapons with additional effects (including negative ones).
- Deep of Night also features exclusive items, including powerful relics. Notably, the hardcore mode allows players to equip up to six relics instead of the usual three.
- As players defeat Night Lords, the difficulty of subsequent runs increases.
As a reminder, Elden Ring: Nightreign has reached 5 million copies sold. The game is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Xbox.
