Next week, the cooperative expansion Elden Ring: Nightreign – The Forsaken Hollows will launch, and developer FromSoftware has begun teasing details about the upcoming content. The latest trailer spotlights the Scholar, one of two new playable characters joining the roster.
The Scholar is a magic-focused class designed to weaken enemies and empower allies with a variety of buffs. Their ultimate ability binds multiple foes together, allowing attacks on one to damage the rest. In melee combat, the Scholar wields a staff, but like all characters, they can be equipped with more powerful weapons.
Beyond new heroes, The Forsaken Hollows introduces two new bosses, a "Terrain Shift" modifier to reshape the map, and more. Players who own the Deluxe Edition will also receive a digital artbook and a mini-soundtrack.
Elden Ring: Nightreign – The Forsaken Hollows launches on December 4 across all platforms, including PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Xbox.
