Garfield: Escape from Monday Announced — 3D Platformer Launches September 24

Garfield Escape From Monday

Microids and OSome Studio have announced Garfield: Escape from Monday, a 3D platformer launching September 24 on PC and consoles.

Garfield Escape From Monday 1

After Jon cooks a spinach lasagna using a recipe from the mysterious Monday Chef, Garfield falls asleep and ends up trapped in a surrealist nightmare filled with his greatest fears — vegetables and sugar-free sweets. To wake up and restore his love of normal food, he must travel through several worlds, fight enemies, and collect lasagna along the way. John, Odie, Arlene, and Pooky all appear as allies.

The game promises dozens of levels across three unique worlds. Garfield can dress as a turkey, ride waves as a surfer, and wield a lasso as a cowboy depending on the episode. Core mechanics include jumping, wall climbing, and rolling into a ball to navigate obstacles and dodge traps. Nermal and Squeak appear as recurring enemies. Collectibles and decorative trophies for Jon's house are also part of the package.

Garfield: Escape from Monday is coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
