Gaijin Entertainment has announced that giant combat robots will appear in the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout. A new type of suspension will be added to the armored vehicle designer - vertical mecha legs, thanks to which it will be possible to create mecha hacks. This will happen in September, with the release of the next major update.
A new type of chassis will allow players to build combat vehicles that move on two legs. Let's remember that in Crossout you can freely design equipment from hundreds and thousands of available parts and immediately go into battle. Therefore, millions of types of bipedal fighting machines will collide on the battlefields, which will change the balance of power in the Wasteland.
Walking combat robots will only be used in modes where armored aircrafts are also available, and the modes themselves will be updated and become even crazier.
You will learn more about the new chassis and other contents of the update from the development diaries on the Crossout website.
