Creative Assembly has announced the release date for the global DLC Omens of Destruction for Total War: Warhammer 3, which will launch on December 12, 2024. The expansion will introduce new content for three armies: Khorne, Ogres, and Greenskins. The trailer showcases some of the new features available for these factions.
The DLC includes three new legendary lords, each with their own campaigns:
- U’Zhul Skulltaker (Khorne) — Players controlling U’Zhul must slay enemy lords on the map and collect their skulls to unlock new abilities and effects. His passive ability, Cloak of Skulls, increases spell resistance.
- Golgfag Maneater (Ogre Kingdoms) — One of the most successful ogre mercenaries of all time. Golgfag eagerly takes contracts from other factions to eliminate unwanted enemies. His ability, Dead Eye, boosts damage from ranged attacks.
- Gorbad Ironclaw (Greenskins) — This infamous warboss stands out among orcs due to his intelligence. In battle, Gorbad experiments with tactics, providing a diverse army composition and chaotic bonuses. His ability, Great Warlord, enhances melee damage and defense when he is near his army.
In addition to the legendary lords, the DLC will offer gameplay system improvements, new objectives for the Immortal Empires mode, and new units, including legendary heroes Skarr Bloodwrath and Scyla Anfingrimm.
Alongside the release of the DLC, Total War: Warhammer 3 will receive Update 6.0, featuring numerous bug fixes and a free legendary lord for Khorne: Arbaal the Undefeated.
