Yesterday, French studio Spiders released the second major update for the early access version of GreedFall 2: The Dying World. In the fresh patch, developers continue working on gameplay improvements and adding new content.
What's Included in Update 0.3
- New region — the city of Peren, known for political intrigue, unequal living conditions, and ruins surrounding the countryside.
- New companion — Till, a former Coin Guard member who prefers frontline combat wielding a two-handed sword.
- Character editor improvements — players can now customize their protagonist's appearance in greater detail.
- Photo mode.
- New save points allowing players to skip the prologue. Players can now start directly before meeting Constantia or after completing Olima's quest line (the latter provides immediate access to the new city).
- Improved crafting system.
- Reworked armor system.
- Various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
Struggling Launch Continues
Since launch, the sequel has fared poorly, currently holding just over 500 "Mixed" reviews on Steam at 55%. GreedFall 2: The Dying World still has no full release date announced. The game is currently available only on PC, though developers have console versions planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
