Creepy Jar studio announced that on August 14, the survivalist Green Hell will receive a separate version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The game will cost $24.99 (plus a 20% discount for the first two weeks after release).
Owners of Green Hell for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the current version for free. There is some bad news - support for the pastgen survivalist is coming to an end:
"In the current generation version of Green Hell, console players will be able to try out updates No. 17 (Storage and Transportation), No. 18 (Fortifications), and No. 19 (Keeper of the Flame) for the first time... The Creepy Jar team is excited to bring Green Hell to the current generation of consoles, however, previous generation consoles will no longer receive updates as the developers focus on current and future generations. In short, previous generation consoles are unable to handle the burden of fresh updates at the level of quality that Creepy Jar intends to offer to players."
This means that versions for different generations will be incompatible - therefore, there are no plans for cross-play or save transfers.
