Clover Bite and publisher Kwalee have released Grime 2, the full sequel to the acclaimed metroidvania Grime. Players once again control the Formless Mimic.
The standout mechanic returns: absorbing defeated enemies to gain their abilities. In combat, players can summon a copy of any slain monster as an ally. The same mechanic extends to exploration — summoned forms help uncover hidden paths across the game's branching, interconnected locations.
Early Steam reviews are sitting at 88% positive. Grime 2 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
