Dark-Fantasy Dice Roguelite GrimKeep Launches November 30

Grimkeep

Resolution Games will release its dark-fantasy roguelite GrimKeep on November 30, 2026, for Windows and macOS via Steam and for PlayStation 5. It will cost $14.99, and a playable demo is already on Steam.

GrimKeep is a single-player, turn-based roguelite built around a bag of dice instead of a deck of cards. Players add stronger dice, upgrade the ones they have, and throw out the ones they don't want, which improves their odds of a useful roll.

Rolls can form poker-style combinations that trigger item bonuses and damage multipliers. Individual dice can also carry effects such as poison, healing, or gold. A system called the Crucible lets players combine items and their abilities into new setups.

High-damage rolls are only part of combat, which also uses defense, stuns and healing. Branching routes through the cursed city make players decide how much risk to take on the way to the castle at its center.

The full game has seven playable heroes, seven dice types, 30 unlockable hero skills, more than 200 items and over 60 monsters. Failed runs can unlock new characters, items, and encounters for later attempts.

Game Director David Filipe called GrimKeep a passion project that a small group at Resolution Games has worked on for the past few years. It began as an idea at an internal event where the studio's staff shared gameplay concepts.

The demo will also be part of Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 19 to October 26.
